What Canton houses need from a cleaner

Canton has a real mix of houses. Near Canton Center and along Washington Street, many homes are older, with wood floors and plaster walls that have been there a long time. Further out there are capes and ranches from the middle of the last century, plus some newer, larger colonials. Each kind of house gets dirty in its own way, so we look at the house before we decide how to clean it.

Winter salt ends up on Canton floors

Canton gets real winters. The town plows and salts the roads, and every trip in from the car brings some of that salt through the door on boots.
